Odbso PhotoRetrieval Screen Shots & Quick Start

Step 1: Select the storage device to scan
Here you can select the storage device that you wish to search.

Once you have selected the storage device to be searched, press the "Next" button and the search will commence.

Some digital cameras use a proprietary connection between the camera and the computer which may not display the storage device on your computer as a drive letter (eg: "E:\"). If this is the case you will need to use a digital camera card reader. This is an in-expensive device into which your media card is inserted and which connects to your computer. A digital camera card reader can be purchased from most camera or computer retailers.

Step 2: Preview and select photos to recover
As soon as the first recoverable images have been found, Odboso PhotoRetrieval generates their thumbnails.

When scan if complete, select images that you want to recover, and then click 'Next'
.

To select groups of files, hold down the SHIFT key (for groups) or the CTRL key (for individual files).
If you want to recover All photos in your camera (or on your memory card), click 'Select All'.
NOTE:
you can select 'Preview...' from the context menu to Preview your photo.

Step 3: Select the location to save your recovery photos
Now select the location of your hard drive to save your recovered photos.

Note: do not  save the recovered files to the same media from which they were recovered, as this may overwrite valuable yet to be recovered photos.

 Step 4: Recovering your photos
Wait for recovering your photos.

Step 5: Browse your recovered photos
Completing the Odboso PhotoRetrieval Recovery Wizard.

Now is a good time to make a backup of the photos that you have just recovered!
