Odbso PhotoRetrieval Screen Shots & Quick Start |
|
Step 1: Select the storage device
to scan
Here you can select the storage
device that you wish to search.

Once you have selected the
storage device to be searched, press the
"Next".
Some digital cameras use a proprietary connection
between the camera and the computer which may not
display the storage device on your computer as a drive
letter (eg: "E:\"). If this is the case you
will need to use a digital camera card reader. This is
an in-expensive device into which your media card is
inserted and which connects to your computer. A digital
camera card reader can be purchased from most camera or
computer retailers.
Step 2: Select file type you to scan
Here you can select the file type that you wish to search.

Once you have selected the
storage device to be searched, press the
"Next" button and the search will commence.
|
Step 3: Preview and
select photos to recover
As soon as the first
recoverable images have been found,
Odboso PhotoRetrieval generates their
thumbnails.

that you want to recover, and then click
'Next'.
To select groups of files, hold down the
SHIFT key (for groups) or the CTRL key
(for individual files).
If you want to recover All photos in
your camera (or on your memory card),
click 'Select All'.
NOTE: you can select
'Preview...' from the context menu to
Preview your photo.
|
Step 4: Select the location to
save your recovery photos
Now select the
location of your hard drive to save your
recovered photos.

Note: do not save
the recovered files to the same media from
which they were recovered, as this may
overwrite valuable yet to be recovered
photos.
|
Step 5: Recovering your photos

|
Step 5: Browse your recovered
photos
Completing the Odboso PhotoRetrieval
