|
Step 7: After deep
scan completes, can you see files like ClusterXXXX in
the "Lost Files" Folders?![]() Do you find your lost files and folders? If you can see them, you can recover your lost files by clicking "Recover" button on the toolbar. Note: These files no longer have Microsoft Windows file reference information. Odboso FileRetrieval searches the entire hard drive and identifies these files by their structure (i.e. unique header, content, and footer information). Because the Microsoft Windows file reference information is changed, the original name of the deleted file is not available. Odboso FileRetrieval renames Lost Files in the format "Cluster_[ClusterNumber].filetype". So the names and locations of lost files that Deep Scan finally find are not same with that of the original lost files. Names found are perhaps like “ClusterXXXX”. But file extension names usually remain same. If the answer is still no, please contact us. Any more questions? Contact us immediately. |
